Tim Baudier for Jefferson Parish Council District 2

Meet Tim

Tim Baudier

Two-term Mayor of Harahan and candidate for Jefferson Parish Council District 2. A leader who believes small towns can do big things, and that District 2 deserves the same energy.

Tim Baudier has spent his public life on practical results: safer neighborhoods, stronger infrastructure, and room for local businesses to grow. As two-term Mayor of Harahan, he helped the city earn recognition for economic readiness, public safety, and quality of life.

He led Harahan through COVID and Hurricane Ida, the worst disaster in city history, and brought in just under $30 million in aid to recover and rebuild. He saved more than $25,000 a month by bringing sewer plant management in-house, helped the Fire Department become self-funded and buy three new trucks, and rebuilt parks that serve families every day.

As a voting member of the Regional Planning Commission, Tim brings a parish-minded perspective to District 2: infrastructure that works, budgets that respect taxpayers, and a council voice that shows up for families and small businesses.

Tim Baudier speaking at a United States Senate podium

“I have loved my time being Mayor. It means the world to me how many believed in me, and I work hard every day to make you proud.”

Proudest accomplishment

Harahan Park of Heroes

“My proudest accomplishment is the Harahan Park of Heroes. It is where I had a chance to honor the Zerangue Family, who helped me get elected for the first time, as well as honor all our fallen heroes from the City of Harahan.”
